Many people have at least one question before their first escape room experience. Here are answers to the most frequently asked. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

  • WILL OUR ESCAPE GAME BE PRIVATE? All of our escape rooms are private. It will just be your team playing together!
  • WHAT ARE ESCAPE ROOMS? Our escape rooms place your group into a highly detailed immersive environment that responds to your actions. Uncover rich stories, find clues, and solve puzzles to progress through the game. Gone are the days of dimly lit rooms and confining spaces. Our world-class escape room facility redefines the concept of escape rooms, transforming them into expansive, welcoming adventure games suitable for any age. Our doors are always unlocked, literally. You and your team can explore our puzzles and challenges with the freedom to step out anytime. Bring your friends, family, or coworkers to solve puzzles, hunt for clues, discover secrets, and beat the clock to escape victorious!   • WHAT IS JUBENSHA?

    Jubensha is a type of live-action role-playing game that has become wildly popular, especially in China. In these games, players chose characters from a script, which includes detailed backgrounds, objectives, and sometimes secrets unknown to other players. The game's storyline typically involves a murder, and players must work together, or against each other, to solve the mystery, uncover secrets, and achieve their individual character's goals.

    The setting can vary widely, from historical periods to fantasy worlds, and the game often requires players to perform and interact in character to progress the story. Jubensha games are praised for their engaging storytelling, the social interaction they foster, and the creativity they inspire in participants. More answers can be found on our Jubensha page.

  • ARE ESCAPE ROOMS GOOD FOR DATE NIGHT?

    Yes! Escape rooms give couples something more memorable than the usual dinner or drinks. Instead of just sitting across from each other, you get to interact, solve problems together, laugh, and share a real experience. It creates energy, conversation, and a sense of teamwork that makes the date feel exciting and different.

  • WHAT MAKES THIS EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT? Our escape rooms provide a thrilling adventure filled with action, puzzles, immersive sets, and theatrical special effects! We hand craft every element in the games to engage your entire group and give each person the opportunity to contribute to the team. 
  • ARE ESCAPE ROOMS A GOOD DATE IDEA? Yes! Escape rooms give you something fun and exciting to focus on, which helps break the ice and reduces awkward silences. Escape games creates natural moments to talk, laugh, and work together. 
  • WHO CAN PLAY? Our games are designed for players of all types. They are great for families, friends and coworkers. We host special events such as birthday parties, nights out, group date nights, wedding proposals, bachorlette parties, family reunions, holiday celebrations, and more! 
  • HOW DO THE ROOMS RANK IN TERMS OF DIFFICULTY? We do not rank our rooms based on difficulty, as it varies from group to group depending on size, experience level, ages, etc. However, we do receive feedback that Frost Base Z is considered the most difficult of the three rooms. Both Paradox and Frost Base Z have a recommended minimum of 4 players because of the volume of puzzles in those rooms.
  • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE? Our games are all ages friendly. All participants under the age of 18 will need an adult to sign their waiver. Players under 13 must be accompanied by at least one adult. Please keep in mind that some game play may be extra challenging for children under 13.
  • HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY AN ESCAPE GAME? The number of players allowed varies by game and can be seen below.

            Frost Base Z : 2-7 players, 4 player minimum recommended
            Ruins of the Mystic Temple : 2-6 players
            Paradox the Incredible Time Machine : 2-8 players, 4 player minimum recommended
  • CAPACITIES Escape games can be booked beyond their capacities by request only. We can increase the capacity of the rooms just a bit, but please note that the limit has been set for a reason and there may not be enough to do to keep your team busy the entire game. If you still want to book beyond the games set capacity, please email Katie, our event coordinator, at concierge@rabbithole.rs for requests.  
  • ARE ESCAPE ROOMS GOOD FOR DOUBLE DATES? Yes. Escape rooms are excellent for double dates because they give everyone a shared goal and the excitment of winning feels great! Four people is great number of players for all three of our escape rooms.  
  • WHAT IF WE NEED HELP? Your team will have a dedicated game host who will do their best to pace your game. However, if you feel like you need help (or even answers!) at any time, they will be happy to give you extra assistance when you ask for it.
  • AM I REALLY GOING TO BE LOCKED IN? No. The door you enter the game through will never be locked and you are free to leave at any time.
  • ARE THE ROOMS CLAUSTROPHOBIC? Not at all. Our adventure games include a variety of spaces with plenty of room to move around, and are likely larger than some spaces in your own residence. 
  • ARE THE ROOMS SCARY LIKE A HAUNTED HOUSE? No. All of our games are family friendly, and do not contain any gore, actors, or other frightening elements.
  • HOW DOES PRICING WORK? We always offer private rooms and a tiered pricing structure:

       2 players : $45 per person ($90 Total)
       3 players : $40 per person ($120 Total)
       4+ players : $35 per person
  • DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE? Yes, bookings can be made online up to one hour before the game time. If you would like to check availability for a game that begins in less than an hour, please call 720.890.4242.
  • HOW DO I BOOK AN ESCAPE ROOM? Click BOOK NOW in the menu above or call us at 720.890.4242 to make a reservation over the phone. When calling to book, please have a credit card handy as it is needed to secure your reservation.
  • WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY ESCAPE GAME? Please arrive 10 minutes before your start time. Your game will begin at the scheduled time. Arriving late may cause time to be deducted from your game.
  • HOW LONG IS AN ESCAPE GAME? You will have 60 minutes to complete your mission, but plan on spending around 90 minutes with us, this allows for orientation before the game and a debriefing at the end.
  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Comfortable clothes, as our games may require at least one player to crouch/bend or crawl. If you regularly need reading glasses, it is a good idea to bring them along. Closed toe shoes are also recommended as the flooring in some areas is uneven. We do encourage players to dress up in game-themed attire. Indian Jones style clothing for Ruins of the Mystic Temple, Steampunk clothes for Paradox and Scientist clothing for Frost Base Z. Doing this makes the games a bit more theatrical, but is not necessary in the least.
  • DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS? While we do not offer refunds, you can reschedule your game as long as you contact us 24 hours prior to your game start time.

    "No shows" are those that do not attend their reservation without notifying Rabbit Hole Recreation Services at least 24 hours prior to their reservation time. Rabbit Hole Recreation Services does accept reschedules more than 24 hours ahead of the reservation.
  • CAN I RESCHEDULE MY ESCAPE GAME? Yes you can! Please reschedule at least 24 hours before your existing reservation. To reschedule, call or email us with your new date and time of choice. You can find alternative time slots by looking at our booking calendar.
